Leslie Knaup views life as a painting. Educated in the US and Italy, she yearned to express herself through her art. Retiring from a career with the government, she is finally able to immerse herself in painting. She has studied under Rick Weaver, Tania Karpowitz, Lisa Semerad and Fred Markham at the Art League in Alexandria, Va. as well as Coloradoan artists' Daniel Edmondson and Barbara Babcock. Married to Jerry Knaup, they live with their schnoodle Zoe enjoying the western landscapes.
